Baluster vase decorated with multicolored spatter glass (“End of Day” technique) on a dark amber base with red, blue and yellow flecks.Artist Antonin RucklThis technique originated with glassblowers who cleaned up their workbench by incorporating remnants from other work in this style of decor.This colorway will have been intended for a fireplace where the upward flaming streaks simulate the colors of fire.Typical of decoration from the later period of Kralik (Czechoslovakia) The Kralik Glassworks was a well-known maker of antique Bohemian art glass, that came to prominence in the late Art Nouveau and Art Deco period., largely producing vases, jars, and bowls in the style inspired by Loetz and others.Very colorful, skillfully made and in excellent condition.This is a rare color and size, a must-have for any collector.Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any further questions.
