Description

Bavarian specialist producer (from Dießen), Loesche is best-known for his mastery of craquelure glazes. This small and exquisitely formed object shows the careful control of surfaces which became the hallmark of his studio.
The soft glaze has a grey-blue color.
After graduating from high school in 1942, Loesche received technical training from Gustav Frosch between 1945 and 1947 and artistic training from the academy professor Karl Lösche, his father. In 1947 he founded his own workshop in Dießen am Ammersee. In 1968 he was a co-founder of the Handwerk Gallery in Munich.

Marked on the base with the company stamp.
