Art Nouveau Cookie tin C. Kurz & Company, Tiel, The NetherlandsMr. Coen Kurz severed his apprenticeship at the very prominent, “Daalderop Metal Factory” and in 1896 left to establish “C.Kurz and Co. of Tiel Holland.” The company name was later changed to Conrad Kurz. The Kurz factory worked in metals especially Pewter and Copper. In the late 1800s through the early 1900s or Art Nouveau, Jugendstil periods, a number of very creative Dutch designers worked with red and yellow copper and brass. The foremost of which was Jan Eisenloeffel.
