Art Deco
G . Carli is synonymous with the sculptor Gustave Van Vaerenbergh, who lived from 1873 to 1927.
His studio was located in Schaerbeek (Belgium), where he worked as a sculptor for a company called “Carli et Fréres”.
Modeled and cast as two men pulling a boat from the water, marble plinth.
Beautifully executed and possesses a strong deco sensibility. Made in Belgium
The piece is in excellent condition and a real beauty!
Made of Spelter with very nice patina.
