Description

Scottie dog perfume lamp in the form of a terrier puppy and mother/father attributed to Carl Scheidig Grafenthal, Germany.
Made from glazed porcelain. Restored electrical parts with inner light bulb (standard E 14) to give a warm and comforting night light. The light also shines through the glass eyes.

The ‘Scottie dog’ (Highland terrier) was a much loved motif of the Art Deco period, and these friendly dog figurines are perfect for a child’s bedroom. A drop of perfume or essential oil onto the plate on the rear will warm against the bulb and aided by the rising air-currents from the lamp, and perforated sides, will slowly perfume the room.

Excellent condition, the lamp is in full working order.
And safe for immediate usage in the World.
