Description
Hollow-footed glass table lamp made by Peill & Putzler in the 1970s. Their unique patterning awareness of light patterns and their use of frosted glass to give a range of white shades was typical of Peill & Putzler’s design ethic, focusing on both the design of the object and the lighting effect it creates, always inventing subtle ways to show tricks of the light.
Borrowing from iconic Italian glass designs by Carlo Moretti, and others, this discrete beauty may go almost unnoticed
until the eye is caught by its fine detail and the textural contrasts of the surfaces.
In excellent condition and in full working order.
And safe for immediate usage in the world.
