Description

Dutch pottery from the famous Gouda factory hand painted with shaded grey motifs on a distinctive orange ground. This range became hugely popular in the early 1970s and since then has become a popular collectible. Each piece is individually signed with model number and decorators mark as well as the factory marks.
This range, inspired by Japanese motifs, was launched in 1968 and rapidly expanded with a diverse range of contemporary shapes. Each item is fully glazed on the inside with a sandy (pale orange) color.
